This saves you the hassel of having to read the General area then switch to the Jokes area then to the Adult area etc. etc. etc. There are over 40 message areas on this BBS with more than 6,000 active messages! If you select the <R> Read combined Message Areas when you log on, you would probably have a thousand or so new messages to read. Many of these message areas probably won't be of any interest to you. You can select the <#> Select Combined Messages Areas command to set up the message areas that you would like to read.
